The Capital Cotillion Club, Inc. is a members-only organization for enthusiastic ballroom dancers. New member applicants shall be sponsored by a current member and approved by the Club’s Board of Directors. Membership dues are currently $100 per person for 8 dances from October to June.
About Our Dances
The Club features a variety of live bands and meets at local social and country clubs such as the Cosmos Club, Arlington Army Navy Country Club, Belle Haven Country Club, Congressional Country Club, the Country Club of Fairfax, Chevy Chase Country Club, Trump National Golf Club and Kenwood Golf and Country Club. The Club dress code requires formal attire for all evening events.
Evening dances typically begin at 6:30 PM with a short social period and cash bar with dinner at 7:00 PM and dancing from 8:00 to 11:00 PM. Afternoon dances are “black tie optional” with dancing and dinner from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Dinner menus offer at least three choices including a vegetarian option. Guest fees are an additional $25 per person.

The Capital Cotillion Club, Inc. is a members-only club for avid ballroom dancers. Prospective new members must be sponsored by a current member and require approval by the Board of Directors. Membership dues are currently $125 per person for eight dinner-dances from September to June, Additional Dances may be added due to unforeseen circumstances. Guests are welcome but need to be invited by a member. Guests are encouraged to attend one or two dinner-dances to meet our members before completing a membership nomination form.
