Summer is winding down as the days grow shorter. But the nights are getting longer! We wish to fill your nights with charming memories of music, dinner, dancing, and revelry. As its season opening event, the Capital Cotillion Club presents the "Charm of Vienna" on Friday, September 30, 2022, 6:30PM

About the event
Imagine browsing the Rathausplatz Chriskindlmarktbefore dinner, spooning whipped cream into your coffee at a Vienna Café, attending a ball at the Hofberg Palace and dancing to the music of Johann Strauss. Imagine that you are viewing the Vienna Skyline from the Country Club's Rooftop bar as you gaze upon the DC Skyline.
The "Charm of Vienna" will be a charming evening of dancing to the music of the Con Brio Ensemble, who will insert Vienna-themed music into their Order of Dances. Â And no Vienna evening would be complete without Apple Strudel, a Grand March,Edelweiss, and the Blue Danube Waltz.
And for a special charm, our very own TanzmeisterinCarol Traxler will teach us the Fledermaus Quadrille #6, a dance performed at midnight at the HofbergPalace. Â
